The Language Of Love Has Never
Been So Intoxicating
Young Keshawn's parents were absent and almost non-existent, but he never let that diminish his dreams, or his tenacity to succeed. Bound by My Choices is an illustrated revelation of his personal stories of trials and tribulations, failed parenting, and ultimate success and redemption. It is filled with experiences and lessons that molded a young adolescent boy to become a Senior Chief in the United States Navy, and graduate college with two degrees. This book will prove that no matter what situation you are born into, you can change the course of your life. It will motivate you to seize the opportunity and not make excuses for the position you were born into.
An engaging and poignant testament to overcoming adversity, unexpected challenges, and reaping the rewards of faith, Bound By My Choices proves a powerful and inspirational read. Eschewing a traditional memoir structure it’s admirably frank as we come to see Keshawn’s life through an ever-widening lens and with many meaningful reflections strewn throughout we are left in little doubt as to the calibre of the mind behind the pen. A critical thinker he reminds us that we are often our own worst enemy and how a lack of stability can have a profound impact on the direction and choices we make. Reflecting on poverty, prejudice, discipline and faith Keshawn writes with refreshing frankness to give us a complete, absorbing and above all poignant account of his achievements. Through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, he transformed himself and opened up a world of exciting opportunities that might otherwise have been denied to him. This alone is reason to pick up a copy and start reading and with a a certain generic weightlessness to his prose it is sure to have a broad appeal.
A memoir to inspire and lead to much reflection,
Bound By My Choices is highly recommended.
