"A Powerful and fascinating foray into the future of science and its unforeseen consequences"
A shipwreck. A lost treasure.
A hell of a race from one to the other. Brendan Le Grange has delivered a winner!
An epic contemporary
love story of imperfect romance.
Mika rents a quaint cottage on a seaside estate. With a group of amazing friends and her disease in remission, she’s happy. In a world spellbound by beauty, she hides the scars of her disorder beneath baggy clothes. Perched on the cliff, her mysterious landlord lives alone in a stately glass house, although his home is transparent, there’s no penetrating the blue abyss of Cain’s eyes or the coldness of the striking man who disappears for days at a time.
Women are Cain’s business. The fantasy he sells has made him a wealthy but empty man. Within a short time, he’s lured by Mika’s beguiling spirit. When life cracks its whip at her, he’s there to catch her. Discovering her secret, he teaches her passion, but it’s her love he desires, not her flesh. To keep her, he’ll have to confess his past sins and convince her that beauty is more than skin deep.
Heartfelt and imaginative, His Perfect Imperfection is the latest release from Natasza Waters and it proves something of a testament to love’s liberating affirmation which often defies expectations. It’s a roller coaster of a tale with Waters weaving a compelling narrative that is teasing, heartfelt and sensitive as she captures the disparity and the intimacy of her central characters. These, along with dialogue are her forte. An altogether beguiling mix, which is immediately engaging and enviably sets her novels above a raft of less imaginative offerings in the genre though it’s Mika who will win the hearts and minds of readers. Waters brings her character to life with insight and sensitivity whilst keeping her familiar in the best possible sense. Her budding romance with Cain is exquisitely inscribed through tender looks and stolen moments and when temperatures rise Waters knows just how far to go whilst effortlessly capturing the essence of time and place.
Wonderfully written, intelligent and thought provoking, His Perfect Imperfection, will linger in your memory and quite rightly garner a host of new fans for Waters. It is highly recommended.
