Any risk is worth saving the life
of the woman he loves.......
While horseback riding in the English countryside, sisters, Electra and Emily Crippen find themselves trapped in a tear in time. Thrown back to 1357 England and caught by a local noble, they are in a place that is home but as frightening and unfamiliar as an alien world would be, but there is still hope. It’s Electra’s lover, Roger Marchand. A time traveler himself, he never told her of his past. When he realizes what has happened to the sisters, he enlists the help of a scientist friend to help him open the suspected passageway through time. Any effort to save Electra and Emily will likely cost him his life. This was the time Roger came from, a time when his country, France, was at war with England. If he is discovered on English soil while searching for the sisters, he will either be killed or taken prisoner of war. Any risk is worth saving the life of the woman he loves.
The BookViral review......
Pure, unadulterated entertainment, In Time For You is the fourth release in the Knights In Time series by Chris Karlsen and it’s a good indication of why supernatural romance is one of today’s most popular genres. Few would argue that one of the biggest subcategories in this exploding trend is highlander romance, so it’s always a topic of conversation when something a little different comes along. A wholly original time travelling saga, Karlson has a natural flair for these tales as she conjures up a cracking cast of vivid and immediately endearing characters, confidently weaving a plot that is artfully balanced between adventure and romantic suspense. Flirting with our imaginations she evokes the spirit of her medieval setting with a narrative that’s rich in detail and quickly draws us into the events in which Electra, Emily and Roger find themselves embroiled. However, rather than simply use time travel as a plot device, she uses it to explore the human element of her tale as Roger risks all for the woman he loves.
A cracking series to add to your list of 'must reads' for the weeks ahead, In Time For You proves a strong release for Karlsen and is highy recommended.
